Cause analysis

There are two types of factory default of wifi channel for the remote controller of Vitus. One is European standard and the other is non European standard. If the wifi from the remote controller can’t match the wifi from the android phones, the connection can’t be successful.

Solution

This kind of problem can be fixed by revising the wifi channel of the remote controller. Please go to our website and download the “Tutorial for wifi channel switching of Vitus remote controller”. If the above problem still can’t be solved, please contact your local Walkera’s dealer.

Activate your aircraft. Use Walkera Drone APP to upgrade the gimbal firmware.

Solution

After gimbal firmware is upgraded to the latest version, wait for 3 minutes for preheating the sensor. Then calibrate the gimbal by following the operation indicated in the relative tutorials.

Solution

Please update the Walkera Drone APP to the latest version. Upgrade all the firmwares in the setting via APP and then reboot the aircraft. Then calibrate all the items in the "device" and "gimbal" in the setting via APP. After that, the aircraft can perform best.

It is suggested to use TOSHIBA Micro SDHC card (UHS-I or above, transmitting speed is equal to or greater than 30m/s).

The front, left and right side of the aircraft can realize the obstacle avoidance function only when the distance between the obstalce and each side is equal to or greater than 2 meters and the ground has clear patterns.Please also make sure the flight environment is good.

Why the aircraft is a little drifting when hovering under GPS mode ?

Solution

The reason might be not engough satellites or weak GPS signal or compass interference. So before flight, please:
1.Wait for the satellite icon in APP to turn green and the receving satellite numbers to reach more than 9;
2. Make sure the left red LED light of the aircraft slowly flashes; 
3.Calibrate the compass.

Solution

It is sugested to follow two steps:

1. The aircraft is kept at 3 meters high; 

2.The horizontal distance between the aircraft and the remote controller is about 4 to 5 meters.

Why the WIFI video transmission distance is small sometimes? Why sometimes the aircraft is not able to reconnect with the remote controller after they disconnect with each other?

Solution

The nearby WIFI interference may affect the WIFI connection of VITUS,so

1. Please try to fly your aircraft in the open air without shelter and without electromagnetic interference.

2. You can use the WIFI analysing software to detect the nearby WIFI source and avoing being in the same frequency channel of those WIFI.

Cause analysis

While the aircraft/remote controller is being charged,the charging process stops suddenly even though the battery is not fully charged yet.

Solution

The battery of the aircraft and the battery of the remote controller both have the temperature-oriented  protection. When the battery's temperature is high, it will automatically stop the charging. Please wait for it to cool down and then recharge again.

After changing the remote controller, the APP can't have the real-time image from the aircraft.

Solution
